Orka Financial is working with a growing Private Equity backed business based near High Wycombe to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant position. This would be an ideal role and company for a candidate studying towards their ACA/ACCA or CIMA. The role itself is quite broad and would offer exposure across a range of finance duties including some more commercial work. The team and company offers good potential for progression and with the business continuing to grow this is a great time to join. Responsibilities: Assist with financial operations, including reporting, provisions, invoicing, accounts payable & receivable, cashflow control, stock control and fixed asset register Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness Take responsibility for the sign-off of monthly sales figures and various other monthly reports Take ownership of P&L overhead cost schedules including querying variances of actual costs to expectations Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations Be the first line escalation point for sales ledger and purchase ledger Prepare the bi-annual sales submissions Assist with the year-end audit Wider finance team and ad hoc project support as required Key Skills: Ability to prioritise and organise own work.
