An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of a supportive and positive team in a Sixth Form College School. The school are seeking to employ a learning support assistant who will support the learning needs of students who require assistance in understanding the curriculum. It is important for the school that they meet an Assistant with a passion to support students with SEN and will inspire, challenge and motivate students to achieve beyond their expected potential. LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT, Haringey Location – North london, Haringey, N17 Position- Teaching/learning support Assistant Start date – Januaray 2025 Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing Contract type – Temporary with the view to go permanent after Full time – FULL TIME ONLY Minimum rate of pay £90-£100 per day Hours – 8am – 4pm (full day) TEACHING/LEARNING ASSISTANTS DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Work with 5 – 6 students who require additional support – EAL and SEN Supporting the class teacher in lessons Run your intervention sessions and booster groups with pupils that need it the most.
