Ian Williams are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the payroll process ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments for our employees.
Ian Williams is a cash rich, reputable and long-established property services contractor. We are a market leader and a prestigious award winner in our field of painting and decorating, repairs maintenance and capital refurbishment services. We offer stability, security and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, progressive environment. We also offer Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.

- Supervise and manage the payroll team to ensure efficient processing of payroll on a weekly and monthly basis - 910 weekly paid and 516 salaried staff.
- Verify and process employee time records, attendance, and leave data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations related to payroll and tax reporting.
- Prepare and review payroll reports, tax filings, and other related documentation.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to maintain accurate employee records and payroll data.
- Implement payroll best practices and recommend improvements to payroll processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and employee data.
- Provide hands-on cover for payroll processing during team absences, and whenever necessary to meet payroll deadlines e.g. during high levels of workload or following delays in process.
- Proven experience in payroll management or supervision.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems.
- Familiarity with relevant labor laws and tax regulations.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
