Annual Salary £45k – £55k depending on experience Location SE4 Job Type Full-time We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead my client’s team in SE4. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the builders merchant industry, who excels in sales and staff management. Day-to-day of the role: Oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and effective management. Lead a team of 10 staff members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Manage sales operations, including the development and implementation of strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Manage 2 HGVs and 1 van for deliveries. Drive customer acquisition and retention efforts, ideally bringing in a personal ledger of customers to enhance business growth. Potentially recruit and integrate a new member of the sales staff into the team. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in the builders merchant industry. Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team. Excellent sales management capabilities. Ability to effectively manage staff and resources to achieve business goals. Experience in customer relationship management and new business development. Valid driving licence, as a company car is provided after a successful 6-month probation period.
