Job Description
ibis Styles Barnsley is looking for an outgoing, dependable, welcoming Hotel Assistant to deliver an amazing first impression and ensure our guests want to come back time and again. We\βre adding to our team to help cover busy periods and need a Guest Service Assistants on a casual basis, in return for a competitive salary of Β£12.21* per hour.
Personality and potential are top of our hiring wish list, but experience in a customer-facing hospitality job would be a big benefit. We need people who are open, welcoming and who know what great customer service looks like β the kind of person you\βd like to meet after a long day of travelling! You could be in our bar and restaurant serving guests, pulling pints, taking orders and checking everything spick and span. As we\βre all one big team, you may also be checking guests in and out, answering questions and supporting them during your stay. You could be working a mix of midweek, weekend, early and late shifts for flexibility in your schedule would be a big advantage. As you\βll be serving alcohol, we do require applicants to be 18 years of age or older.
Who we\βre looking for
- You are a people-person and like customer service
- You will be involved in serving our guests, making them feel welcome, happy and ensuring they are having a great stay
- You will be serving food, serving drinks & wine, ensuring the restaurant & bar are clean and tidy and ready for next service.
- You will be working midweek and weekends, with a mix of breakfast and dinner shifts
*National Minimum Wage of Β£10.00 per hour applies to those aged 18-20. National Living Wage of Β£12.21 applies for those aged 21 and above.
