*Team Leader / Mental Health Supervisor* *REF: NWM/486* * Hours*: Full Time 37.5 hours per week, worked flexibly to meet the needs of the service, to include some evenings and weekends * On-Call Duty:* This role requires participation in an on-call duty rota. The on-call rota will operate in a rolling 6-week schedule, and the employee will be on-call for one week within each 6-week period, although this may be more frequently depending on availability of employees. In return, you’ll receive competitive compensation for your on-call duties: * On-Call Availability*: For times when you’re on call but not actively working, you’ll receive a fixed-rate payment of £18.75 on weekdays and £31.24 on weekends. Active Work or Shift Cover: If you’re called upon to attend an SSRH or cover a shift, you’ll be paid at your standard hourly rate for the time spent actively working. *Starting Salary:* £26,292 per annum, rising to £27,835 after 6-month probation. *Location*: Birch Tree House, Barroway Drove, Downham Market, PE38 0AL *The Service * Birch Tree House aims to provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative alternative to acute mental health hospital admission for people with issues that may affect their mental health. The short stay recovery house will support and provide interventions in the least restrictive environment consistent with people’s health and social care, and safety needs. Equity of access to an alternative to admission for people is ensured. *About the Role* * *Are you ready to step into a Team Leader role? Do you have experience as a Supervisor or in a leadership position and are now looking for progression? As Team Leader, you will take charge in the absence of the Service Manager, overseeing the operation of a 24-hour crisis intervention and support service. You will lead the team to provide effective, short-term interventions designed to alleviate the experience of crisis for those in need. This is an ideal role for someone with supervisory experience who is ready to take the next step into a Team Leader position. You will work closely with the Service Manager in assessing referrals from the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team (CRHT) and ensuring that all actions are taken within agreed timeframes. *We are looking for candidates who:* Are ready to step into a Team Leader role and have previous experience working in a supported living environment. Experience in leading services within a CQC framework is desirable, though training will be provided. Someone who has worked with complex needs who may be difficult to engage with. Experience in working collaboratively across multiple agencies to deliver effective care and support Strong emotional resilience to navigate change and manage complex processes effectively.
