We’re seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead, mentor, and grow our remote-first engineering organization. The successful candidate will have a strong people leadership background, with over 10 years of experience managing remote and distributed engineering teams and a proven track record of turning around teams into healthy, high-performing units.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading a team of 11 direct reports and shaping the engineering culture to support autonomy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Defining and driving the engineering strategy in alignment with company goals.
- Building and maintaining a high-trust, inclusive engineering culture in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
- Guiding team development, hiring, retention, and succession planning.
- Implementing and optimizing engineering processes and workflows to improve collaboration and delivery speed.
- Partnering with Product, Design, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features.
- Providing technical leadership and ensuring best practices in software engineering, architecture, and security.
- Diagnosing and addressing team dysfunctions, implementing strategies to turn teams around and help them thrive.
