About the Role:
ARCA Resourcing is working with an innovative technology scale-up specialising in electric motor and drive system development. We’re looking for a talented and motivated Senior Test Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in testing, validating, and improving next-generation electric propulsion systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and operate test facilities and schedules for electric drive systems.
- Design test architectures and rigs to meet verification and validation requirements.
- Develop and validate automated test code in NI LabVIEW, in line with BSI-60034-1 standards.
- Process and analyse test data to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing training and day-to-day technical support.
- Perform root cause analysis for test failures and system issues.
- Produce clear, detailed technical reports for stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree (BEng/BSc or equivalent) in Electronics, Embedded Systems, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong experience testing electro-mechanical systems – ideally in the automotive or e-mobility sector.
- Proficient in NI LabVIEW, MATLAB, and PXI Data Acquisition systems.
- Solid knowledge of electronics measurement and data acquisition principles.
