A leading global organization is seeking an experienced Wireless Systems Consultant to lead the evaluation and recommendation of a new enterprise wireless infrastructure. This is a strategic short-term engagement, requiring a senior-level professional with a strong track record in wireless networking within complex enterprise environments.

Overview
This role involves leading a comprehensive technical and business assessment of modern wireless network solutions. The consultant will be responsible for conducting data-driven evaluations of wireless platforms, designing a proof of concept, and delivering a strategic recommendation aligned with the organisation’s current and future needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and compare enterprise wireless systems based on vendor capabilities, technical performance, scalability, and cost
- Design and implement a proof of concept utilizing Meraki and Juniper platforms to support diverse office environments
- Apply quantitative metrics and benchmarks to guide solution analysis and decision-making
- Collaborate with internal technical and business teams to define requirements and ensure alignment with operational goals
- Provide interim troubleshooting and support for the current wireless infrastructure
- Develop and present a comprehensive report outlining findings, recommendations, and a high-level implementation plan
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise wireless networking
- Current CWNA certification (Certified Wireless Network Administrator)
- Proven expertise in wireless architecture design, implementation, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of wireless protocols (802.11 standards), RF planning, and security
- Ability to perform rigorous data analysis and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with leading wireless vendors (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Meraki)
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as Ekahau, AirMagnet, and Wireshark
- Advanced certifications (CWSP, CWDP, vendor-specific credentials)
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, including Wi-Fi 6/6E and private 5G
Deliverables
- Final report detailing technical evaluations, comparative analysis, and strategic recommendations
- High-level implementation and risk assessment plan for the recommended solution
