This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an exceptional experienced automotive candidate to lead a successful retail sales department. With a successful track record of achieving and exceeding set targets and objectives and up to date knowledge of vehicle, consumer and trade practice legislation, you will have experience in leading and motivating a sales team.
What does the Head of Sales role involve?
- Accountable for delivering a financial result by offering a first-class experience for our customer
- Cost control of the departmental budget
- Responsible for the day to day leadership of a sales team and for driving the dealership volume and gross profit
- Driving enquiry conversion and F&I profitability
- Ensure the end to end sales process standards are met and showroom standards are maintained to manufacturer standards
- Ensure customer expectations are consistently maintained and that the customer’s experience is faultless
What does the right candidate need to succeed as Head of Sales?
- Proven experience in a sales department within the motor industry
- Proven experience of achieving and exceeding set targets and objectives
- Up to date knowledge of vehicle, consumer credit and trade practice legislation
- Current, valid driving licence
- Willing to work additional/unsocial hours as required
- Previous knowledge of the franchise in which this role exists
- Experience of managing a departmental budget and leading a team
- Experience of leading a team, the ability to motivate and coach
- Excellent communication skills
- Satisfy the requirements of GI Compliance and be of ‘good financial repute’
- Customer orientated
- Enthusiastic, smart, professional attitude and appearance
