About the Role – The Senior Broker Support Technician will provide a quality Binding Authority technical service to Brokers & Clients covering a range of North American property & casualty lines. To advise, manage and arrange for accurate client and/or Underwriter documentation to be produced and delivered within the appropriate timeframes; all in accordance with Lloyds, company and FCA requirements. Assume ownership for the technical requirements needed for the effective placement and servicing of new and renewal binders into the Lloyds market.
Responsibilities
- This is a front-end broker support role, so you will work closely with clients in the US & Canada, the broking team and Account Executives.
- Create MRC slips, endorsements and declarations
- Collate any additional information for market presentation
- Process monthly bordereau and submissions to Bureau for signing
- Register binder contracts at Lloyds using DCOM
- Upload risk information onto PPL
- Oversee the effective onboarding of binder agreements
- Ensure the effective day to day servicing of coverholder business
- Assist with open market technical support
Qualifications – This is a senior role, so candidates must be able to show strong experience and technical knowledge in the coverholder/dua broker environment. In-depth understanding of binder processes and procedures in the Lloyds market. Ability to problem-solve and devise solutions. Strong communication skills. Work with a client-focused, service driven mentality. Be able to perform under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
Pay range and compensation package – Permanent position. Hybrid working – Tue/Wed/Thur in the City office with Mon & Fri at home. Salary to £75,000. Excellent benefits package. Annual bonus.
