A growing specialist finance brokerage is looking to expand the team with a specialist finance broker, offering great career progression for the right candidate. Its ethos is honesty, integrity and availability, ensuring that clients receive a top-level service at all hours of the week, which has gained the brokerage an excellent reputation for outstanding customer service.
The successful candidate must ensure they can approach all business relationships with this ethos in mind. Experience with dealing with clients directly is a must, and the candidate needs the confidence to build and maintain relationships for repeat business. Those relationships should extend to lenders to enable negotiations on facilities for the business as well as the client.
The business mainly focuses on bridging and development finance loans of £1M up to £50M, thus experience with understanding the profile of development funding is important. We work with all types of specialist property finance and expect the candidate to be able to structure different creative solutions for the clients when appropriate. It aims to ensure each project is packaged fully to enable lenders to provide the best possible terms; training will be provided, however, a basic understanding of deal packaging is a must (i.e. company/director checks, comparable, basic understanding of appraisals and cash flow forecasts).
