Our client is currently seeking a Mobile Service Engineer to join our team ideally based in the West Sussex area. You will be responsible for providing breakdown support as well as preventative maintenance for a large range of plant and construction machinery. If you have a passion for technology, enjoy working with customers, and have the technical skills necessary for this role, we would love to hear from you!

  • Based in the West Sussex area
  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 5:30pm
  • £42,000 - £48,000

Job Description:

  • Work with the service controller to provide breakdown response
  • Respond to customer service requests, diagnose issues, and provide appropriate solutions
  • Maintain, and repair mobile equipment and systems for customers
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections on mobile devices to ensure functionality
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and program using the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Keep accurate records of service visits, repairs, and maintenance performed

Person Specification:

  • MUST be happy with traveling in West Sussex
  • Previous experience as a heavy plant mobile service engineer or similar role
  • Educated to NVQ level 3 or similar
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • FULL Valid UK driving licence.
