We are looking for an experienced Events Manager to join a well-established and expanding company who deliver both virtual and live events to clients on a worldwide basis. Working predominantly in the pharmaceuticals sector, you will be involved in coordinating events such as large-scale conferences, annual meetings and summit events internationally. What the role will involve:
- Build and nurture strong client relationships
- Manage every aspect from the initial budget to final reconciliation
- Comply with client policies, HCBI procedures, client driven KPI’s
- Adapt working methods to stay aligned with new client requirements
- Deliver events onsite as part of the team, providing excellent customer service and meeting client needs and expectations
- Use an online registration platform (Cvent preferred) effectively, including building websites, maintaining databases and app development
- Find, research, and build relationships with suppliers to secure the perfect venue for events
- Manage team members working on projects, ensuring they are well-trained and understand their roles and responsibilities
Skills and Knowledge:
- You have relevant industry experience, ideally in an agency environment; Healthcare events knowledge is an advantage
- You have a passion for event management, and are determined, fun to work with, and a savvy thinker
- An Events management degree is an advantage
- Flexible, proactive individual with a keen eye for detail, ability to multi-task
- Customer service skills
- Ability to travel internationally is a must
