We are seeking an experienced and skilled Appliance Repair Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of small home appliances and electronic products, including robot vacuum cleaners (e.g., Roborock, Dreame, Ecovacs), UV printers (Eufy), and other electronic devices.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and diagnose issues in various appliances, including robot vacuum cleaners, UV printers, and other consumer electronics.
- Repair or replace defective components such as motors, sensors, circuit boards, batteries, and displays.
- Perform disassembly and reassembly for in-depth repairs and maintenance.
- Update software/firmware and perform device calibrations where necessary.
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic and mechanical issues.
- Provide clear and accurate repair cost estimates to customers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure high service standards.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven work experience as a repair technician in home appliances, electronics, or a related field.
- Specialized experience in robotic vacuum cleaners and/or UV printers is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of diagnostic and testing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, circuit diagrams, and schematics.
- Knowledge of firmware updates, app-based troubleshooting, and calibration tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
- Capable of lifting and moving equipment as needed.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
