We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our dynamic Credit Risk team. At Pilgrims Europe we have a great opportunity for an Analyst to join our growing Credit & Risk Analytics team within our Finance function. As a team, we are responsible for analysing all aspects of our credit portfolio and using data to drive insight on how we can optimise our customer proposition, improve business profit and reduce risk. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and develop fundamental skills in credit analysis within a supportive and collaborative environment.

What will I be doing?

  • Complete thorough credit assessments of new and existing clients.
  • Analyse financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to evaluate creditworthiness.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit risk reports summarising findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor industry trends and economic developments that may impact credit risk.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Commercial and Accounts Receivable to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy of credit evaluations.
  • Participate in credit committee meetings and provide insights based on analysis.

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
