As we continue to expand and enhance our services, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Executive / Assistant Manager - Distribution to join our client's team. This role is crucial in optimising our distribution channels and driving revenue growth.

Role Overview: The Senior Executive / Manager - Distribution will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising our distribution strategy across various channels, ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue. This position requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in distribution, preferably within the hotel, airline, or broader hospitality/travel sectors. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our Revenue Management, Pricing, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration of distribution strategies that align with the company’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distribution Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive distribution strategies across online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), direct booking channels, and other third-party platforms.
  • Revenue Optimisation: Work closely with the Revenue and Pricing teams to ensure that distribution strategies are aligned with pricing models and revenue targets. Continuously monitor and adjust distribution tactics to maximise revenue and profitability.
  • Channel Management: Oversee and manage relationships with distribution partners, ensuring optimal performance and negotiating contracts to secure the best possible terms.
  • Data Analysis: Utilise data analytics to monitor channel performance, identify trends, and adjust strategies accordingly. Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on distribution performance and opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure that distribution strategies are well-integrated with sales initiatives and operational capabilities. Collaborate to drive marketing and promotional campaigns that boost occupancy and revenue.
  • Technology Integration: Work with IT and external vendors to ensure that distribution systems are fully integrated, up-to-date, and operating efficiently. Advocate for technology solutions that enhance distribution capabilities.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging distribution technologies to ensure that the business remains competitive in the market.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in distribution management within the hotel, airline, or related hospitality/travel industries. A proven track record of driving revenue growth through effective distribution strategies.
  • Expertise: Strong understanding of revenue management, pricing strategies, and channel management. Experience with GDS, OTAs, and direct booking platforms is essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. Familiarity with distribution and revenue management systems.
  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with Revenue, Pricing, Sales, and Operations teams.
