Our client, an established, award-winning, professional multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to hire an Associate Director – MEP to grow out a the building services function for their London Office.
The Associate Director – MEP will:
- Assemble and nurture a team of strong engineers to deliver MEP building projects across a busy and growing client base.
- Playing role as technical expert for MEP Engineering issues from team members, guiding Graduates, Project Engineers and Senior Engineers to success.
- Be responsible for the technical and financial management of the building services department through the effective integration and management of the existing MEP building services engineering team.
- Ensure problem solving and innovation oversight across office(s) or teams.
- Prepare and manage fee quotations and scope of work by project.
- Create and pursue additional client opportunities.
- Undertake active modelling, management and teaching of engineering competence.
The Associate Director – MEP will have:
- Have attained chartership or be on their way to obtaining chartership status.
- Demonstrable understanding of building design project management and project delivery.
- Significant experience of ‘hands on’ design within a mechanical building services setting.
- Management, Coaching and mentorship skills with the ability motivate and develop small teams of engineers.
- Ability to work on their own initiative, as part of our dynamic team with a high attention to detail.
