Established in 1989, our client is the UK’s leading passive fire protection specialist, supplying a comprehensive range of third-party accredited survey, installation and compliance services to public and private sector organisations across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising closely with the whole operational team to ensure a high standard of contract set up, smooth delivery and handover in terms of the remote/office management of the works.
- Ensuring all budget and programme information is kept current and aligned with those set out in the Commercial Handover of the Project.
- Ensure progress and variation information is being captured for accurate reporting.
- Ensuring that assigned projects are correctly mobilised and planned in terms of a budget and a clear scope communicated to supervisors and operatives.
- Ensuring all quality standards are being adhered to with QA checks and works sign off on site.
- Ensuring projects are fully stocked with appropriate materials and access equipment.
- Resolving quality assurance fails, site issues, customer disputes and complaints.
- Ensuring appropriate resourcing of contracts with relevantly trained operatives and quality suppliers.
- Maintaining strong customer relations with frequent site visits, progress updates and resolving issues.
Experience:
- Passive fire protection experience in either compartmentation or fire doors.
- Planning and scheduling works.
- Customer/client liaison.
- Monitoring and maintaining productivity, health and safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 5 or above in Passive Fire Protection.
- ILM Level 3 or equivalent.
- SMSTS.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Asbestos Awareness.
