About The Role:

Role Overview:
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the finance aspects of the major client account, including weekly financial reporting, budget management, client relationship management, financial oversight and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management within the Facilities Management industry, strong accounting experience, excellent data analysis and presentation skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to their work. The role reports directly to the Senior Finance Business Partner with indirect reporting to National Account Director.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- To provide collaborative support to the Commercial Administrators, National Account Director and National Mobile Team Director.
- To manage and report on the underlying financial records for Contract ensuring compliance to IFRS and internal policies.
- To assist the Senior Finance Business Partner with the Month End reporting process including taking the lead for preparation of monthly client reconciliations and will be a key point of liaison between client and internal stakeholders including sector finance teams and contract managers.
- Preparation of Weekly Client Reports and updates to PowerBI dashboards with a key focus on building constructive and collaborative relationships with the key stakeholders.
- Weekly/Monthly Performance reviews and reconciliation against the actual financial performance ensuring that the budget is managed and priced margins are achieved and maximised.
- Work closely with Commercial administration to ensure billing is on time and that Category based revenue and capital spends are correctly allocated and analysed in line with clients model and structure.
- Drive continuous finance and operational process improvement throughout all the finance procedures adopting best practice.
- Ensure robustness and completeness of Purchase Order, WIP and Committed Cost financial records so that PowerBI Dashboards are accurate for client to self-serve.
- To act as a key contact for completion and reporting to the Group Function.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Newly/recently Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
- Extensive experience of preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Management Accounts.
- Experience of budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience of working with WIP within the FM industry (Hard Facilities Management Industry would be desirable).
- Commercial acumen, with an ability to interpret numbers and communicate key issues in a concise and clear manner to a range of audiences.
- Possessing a high level of attention to detail, but commercially focused.
- Excellent communications skills and customer service orientation.
- Engaging client facing capabilities to build and develop relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with complex financial models.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Able to deal with a fast-paced continually evolving role.
- Curious, determined with bags of initiative.
