A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our client, a leading supplier to major high street retailers and supermarkets. Our client is seeking a commercially driven Nightwear / Loungewear Designer with a strong trend-focused feminine portfolio and solid product development experience. This is a brilliant chance to join a successful, fast-paced business working within their established design team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities will include:
- Create and develop commercial, trend-led designs for key retail accounts.
- Work closely with buyers to present ranges and respond to briefs.
- Oversee product development from initial concept through to production.
- Source and develop fabrics in line with seasonal trends.
- Create mood boards, colour palettes, and trend direction presentations.
- Conduct in-depth trend research and produce clear concept designs and technical packs.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team and report directly to the Design Director.
Person specification:
- Proven experience designing women's nightwear and/or loungewear.
- Highly commercial with a strong understanding of the UK high street market.
- A feminine and trend-aware design aesthetic.
- Strong technical skills, including the ability to produce detailed and clear tech packs.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple deadlines.
- Confident, ambitious, and comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
