A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our client, a leading supplier to major high street retailers and supermarkets. Our client is seeking a commercially driven Nightwear / Loungewear Designer with a strong trend-focused feminine portfolio and solid product development experience. This is a brilliant chance to join a successful, fast-paced business working within their established design team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities will include:

  • Create and develop commercial, trend-led designs for key retail accounts.
  • Work closely with buyers to present ranges and respond to briefs.
  • Oversee product development from initial concept through to production.
  • Source and develop fabrics in line with seasonal trends.
  • Create mood boards, colour palettes, and trend direction presentations.
  • Conduct in-depth trend research and produce clear concept designs and technical packs.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and report directly to the Design Director.

Person specification:

  • Proven experience designing women's nightwear and/or loungewear.
  • Highly commercial with a strong understanding of the UK high street market.
  • A feminine and trend-aware design aesthetic.
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to produce detailed and clear tech packs.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple deadlines.
  • Confident, ambitious, and comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Background in design from either a supplier or retailer.
