In this role, you will be key in delivering innovative financial modelling solutions to a range of stakeholders, covering project work from strategic planning to implementation, which will be on a fixed term contract initially for 12 months.
You will develop sophisticated modelling frameworks and data analytics to support informed decision-making for stakeholders.
Engage directly with senior management to understand their business objectives and provide tailored financial solutions that meet their needs.
Develop and deliver financial models and tools for stakeholders to use for forecasting and business planning.
Use and adapt models to conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis.
Extensive experience in constructing and reviewing complex financial models in Excel.
Actively participate in model design discussions and prepare model specification documents.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical knowledge of financial modelling, alongside strong commercial awareness, enabling them to clearly explain complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with complex techniques.
Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualisation software.
A recognised finance or accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA or equivalent).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences.
