We are looking for an Online Assistant Merchandiser to join a hugely successful retailer based in Leeds. The Online Assistant Merchandiser will support the online trading team with landing future projects and the day-to-day running of the company website. The OAM will also support with admin tasks across the online trading function.
Landing the future project will require the Online Assistant Merchandiser to work alongside the online trading team to support in merchandising the website in both new and old systems (training in the systems used will be given where required).
Duties may include:
- Promotional merchandising
- Merchandise new products on the website
- Review new ranges on the site and report any issues
- Action supplier requests
- Action commercial requests
- Transferring data from old systems to new
- Ensure the administration of the website is correct and up to date
- Ensuring all PDP data is correct
- Ensuring all imagery is correct on the site
- Data analysis using Excel
- Site walk the website and feedback any issues
About You:
- A high attention to detail and well versed with using both spreadsheets and data entry systems
- Previous experience in a retail or customer-focused role would be good to have but not essential
- A keen interest in the online market
- A logical mindset and keen for things to be in place for ease of shop for customers
- Work well within a team and individually
- Self-motivated but can also follow processes
- Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills
- Able to prioritise when required
Office Requirements:
- Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
- You will be required to be in the office at least 3 days a week; 2 days can be worked at home
- £12.30 per hour
