Our client specialises in building physics and engineering, working across sectors including heritage, education, healthcare, and commercial developments. Their goal is to design buildings that enhance both occupant well-being and environmental performance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on projects from inception to handover.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare energy assessments.
- Write reports for planning submissions.
- Use tools like IES Software to support project designs.
- Mentor junior team members and engage with clients effectively.
Essential:
- Degree in a relevant subject.
- 3-5 years' experience in building services design.
- Strong knowledge of Part L, Part O, DFE standards, and SAP10/Net Zero requirements.
- Proficiency in IES Software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with design and modelling software (training provided).
- Own transport and a valid driving license.
