Located in Leominster, is committed to delivering high-quality products and services. You will have experience in a purchasing related role though if you have commercial experience working in an internal sales role and have experience working within a supply chain team focused on managing and executing the delivery of goods to customers, you have relevant experience. You will have the opportunity of growing your experience, contributing to the fulfilment of sales orders in a dynamic working environment. Your focus will be in purchasing and material planning.
- Plan and execute purchasing and material planning activities to fulfil production orders in a timely, diligent and accurate manner.
- Work with the Supply Chain Manager to purchase required materials to fulfil sales.
- Work with the Supply Chain Manager and Quality Assurance to develop and manage relationships with Suppliers that benefit our business and build solid foundations for scale and growth.
- Work with the Supply Chain Manager to develop and maintain supplier and material records in Steatite’s ERP enabling effective planning and execution for materials planning and supply.
- Contribute to the development of Steatite’s business processes associated with materials planning and purchasing.
- Be a champion of working in a professional, respectful and encouraging manner, setting standards for this and always observing legal compliance as well as company standards policies and standards in relation to corporate and social responsibilities.
Experience as a Buyer, or internal sales or material planning role, using ERP systems such as SAP or Epicor. Experience of working in ERP systems such as SAP and Epicor to view production and/or sales orders and create/maintain records for materials and suppliers. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment where engineering design, bills of materials, production and materials planning are operational norms. Purchasing is an essential requirement.
