My client in the Bristol area is looking for a fab Head Nurse to join their lovely team. You’ll be a nurse who is passionate about providing the best patient care and client journey available. You’ll work in harmony with a smashing team of vets, nurses, receptionists, and care assistants who will quickly become your work family. This practice is proud to offer a first class service to their clients!

This is a busy practice with all the mod cons and veterinary kit you’d expect in a 21st century first opinion surgery. Nurses are fully utilised here. My client is looking for enthusiastic and committed nurse that wants to develop themselves further and enjoy working as part of a fun and friendly team. The practice is locally owned and led meaning someone accountable is always on hand to help and support colleagues.

The Head Nurse role will be supported by the experienced Practice Manager, and you’ll work closely together to ensure the smooth running of the practice, as well as having management & development responsibility for the team of 3 RVNs, 1 student nurse and 2 VCAs. The practice is a training practice, they’re RCVS accredited; as well as being Silver Cat Friendly Clinic (ISFM) and Rabbit Friendly (RWAF). This is a progressive practice able to provide opportunities for you to develop your skill set offering you a CPD allowance which includes support for certificates. You can really be your best self here!

Full time, No OOHs/nights, just 1:5 weekends. Salary around £30k for Head Nurse role, possibly more for extensive experience. With 5.6 weeks’ annual leave, CPD, free on-site parking, pension, RCVS paid and more…
