Waste Collection Driver in Barnsley, South Yorkshire

LGV Waste Collection Driver (Category C) £15.17 per hour

2-Month Contract | Immediate Start

4 days per week – 9.5 hours per day

Induction day Thursday 5th June

Join a busy waste management team as an LGV Driver, responsible for the safe and efficient collection of household waste. This hands-on role includes supervising a small team, ensuring health & safety standards, operating mechanical machinery, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and security.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence

• CPC Qualification

• Manual handling awareness (training can be provided)

• Ability to lead and motivate a team

• Previous experience in waste management desirable

Work will be outdoors in all weather, and flexibility is required to meet operational needs.
