System Engineer Permanent

Role Title: Systems engineer Duration: contract to run until 28/11/2025 Hybrid, 3 days onsite (Mon, Tues Thurs) Our client is looking for a Systems Engineer who is proficient in scripting languages and has a comprehensive experience of Building Playbooks, Ansible, VMWare, and backup systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining test environments, as well as ensuring robust backup solutions. Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automating configuration management and deployment processes. Build and manage test environments to ensure thorough testing of software applications. Script using languages such as Perl, Python, or similar to automate tasks and integrate systems. Understand and implement backup strategies to safeguard data and ensure business continuity. Need to have an understanding of VMware, databases, Linux and Windows admin tasks. Any backup and/or networking experience would be a bonus. Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
