I'm working with a leading University in the South of England who are looking for a Senior IT Systems Administrator (Windows). The role is focused on managing and developing core IT services, with a strong emphasis on Windows Server Environments, Active Directory, Office 365, and backup/disaster recovery solutions. The position also plays a key part in technical leadership and service improvement across the IT infrastructure team.
- Microsoft 365 (Office 365) - admin, support, and development
- Exchange / Exchange Online - must have proven experience of migrating Exchange on-premise to Exchange online
- Windows Server - strong hands-on experience
- Active Directory / Azure AD - configuration, support
- Experience documenting IT systems & procedures
Degree in IT (or equivalent experience) or MCSE certification. Hands-on with at least 3: Exchange, ADFS, Azure AD, Citrix, Office 365, patching, email security. Familiarity with ITIL or structured service environments.
