A respected London law firm is hiring a Private Client Solicitor with 4–6+ years’ PQE. You’ll join a team advising HNW and UHNW clients on UK and international matters. The work is complex, technical, and rewarding – ideal if you want to build on your expertise in a role with clear progression.
Salary: £85,000 to £110,000 depending on experience.
Key areas of work include:
- Will drafting and succession planning
- Setting up and maintaining wealth structures (trusts, foundations, FICs, partnerships)
- Inheritance tax planning and advising on reliefs, exemptions, and double tax treaties
- Cross-border succession planning and conflict of law issues
- Advice on tax residency, domicile, and personal tax (remittance basis, overseas workday relief)
- Guidance to trustees and beneficiaries on trust matters
- Capacity issues, including preparing and registering LPAs
- Philanthropic and impact investment structuring
- Compliance and transparency reporting (e.g. FATCA, CRS)
- Advice on UK residential property structures (CGT, IHT, SDLT, ATED, corporate tax)
- Broader private client and tax issues as they arise
What you’ll bring:
