Overview: Our client, a leading leisure operator based in London, is seeking an experienced Pool Technician to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in the swimming pool industry, demonstrating both the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment. Holding an ISPE Technician Standard qualification and an electrical certification is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine servicing of indoor and outdoor pools and spas for a diverse client base.
- Maintain automatic swimming pool/spa water treatment systems.
- Service and repair various types of automatic swimming pool covers.
- Perform basic fault finding and repairs on Air Handling Units (AHUs).
- Execute pipework repairs and replacements.
- Replace pumps and filters as necessary.
- Diagnose faults and report findings to the Line Manager.
- Apply knowledge of electrical systems in maintenance tasks.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in the swimming pool industry or water filtration systems.
- ISPE Technician Standard qualification preferred.
- Electrical qualification desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
