A dynamic and growing IT Cloud Managed Services Provider (MSP), is on a mission to empower people through technology. Based on the outskirts of Bristol they deliver expert IT solutions, infrastructure modernisation, workspace transformation, and managed services to a diverse client base. We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (3rd line support) to join our expert team and play a key role in delivering high-level technical support, mentoring junior engineers, and helping shape the future of our service offerings. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled IT professional with a strong background in Microsoft 365, Azure, and virtualisation technologies to thrive in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
What You’ll Do
- Provide 3rd line support and resolve complex technical issues
- Manage escalated tickets and mentor Infrastructure Engineers
- Conduct audits, health checks, and contribute to service development
- Collaborate with the Service Desk Manager and technical consultants
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience working for a MSP
- 3+ years in 3rd line support or 1+ year in a senior infrastructure role
- Very strong technical skills in several of the following with a focus on Microsoft technologies (365 and Azure): Azure Site Recovery, vSphere, Horizon View, Hyper-V, Microsoft server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange / O365, Microsoft SQL, SharePoint, SCCM, RDS, SAN & SAN Fabric, Backup/business continuity, LAN networking, Wireless networking, Citrix XenApp, Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to travel to client sites and participate in a monthly on-call rota
