We are currently searching for an experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager with a focus on ensuring technical continuity during the engagement, being the conduit between technical teams and the business in a collaborative and effective manner, providing seamless delivery of infrastructure services to our clients’ internal customers.
This is a hybrid position based in Central London, with the need to be in the office up to 2 days a week.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivery of IT projects aligned to Prince2 delivery methodology (Prince2 certification required)
- Previous experience of ITIL V2 and/or V3 service delivery methodology (ITIL certification desirable but not essential)
- Supporting the divestment of an existing business unit across other existing areas of the business
- Strong business communication skills are essential to ensure effective communication between a number of business units, translating technical requirements in a way the business can understand
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the infrastructure teams, ensuring that best practices are followed in the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure solutions.
- Manage the Managed Service Partner(s) who provides solution engineering, delivery, and operational support of the Infrastructure (e.g. servers, storage, network, workplace, and technology services such as Service Desk) to their business.
- Manage service providers, through service metrics, SLR’s and enterprise wide KPI’s by continuously driving the efficiency.
- Produce monthly reports, KPI’s and SLA adherence which is present to senior members of the organisation across Technology and Product Development to discuss and mitigate risk & issues in a transparent manner.
- Monitor infrastructure service performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Gain a thorough understanding of our technology services, ensuring a clear insight into service details and customer needs through data
- Empower service owners with real-time request updates by leveraging ServiceNow's capabilities
What you’ll bring:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical audience.
- Strong knowledge of Prince2, ITIL, Agile methodologies
- Ability to parse the data and provide meaningful insights which are useful for all our stakeholders and initiating continuous service improvement plans.
- Demonstrable experience in overseeing the end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure services, ensuring SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards are met as per the contractual agreement(s).
- Previously delivered withing IT service delivery and project management, preferably in a similar environment.
- High level (non-technical) knowledge of cloud and infrastructure services (cloud computing, compute, storage and network)
