We are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to positively influence the division and provide comprehensive building surveying advice. This is not your typical surveying practice; my client is collaborative, values-led, and committed to rethinking the way professional services support communities, assets, and regeneration. The practice prides itself on delivering high calibre advice across the commercial, retail, industrial, and private residential sectors. Typical projects range from £200k - £3million.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor who is looking for the next steps in their career. The practice has a strong emphasis on growth and development; you will be offered a transparent programme which encourages promotion through to full Directorship.

The Role:
You’ll lead and deliver a varied portfolio of commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects, across both public and private sectors. This includes:
- Building surveys, dilapidations, and defect diagnosis
- Project management of refurbishment and fit-out schemes
- Design and specification (JCT contracts)
- Contract administration and client liaison
- Mentoring APC candidates and supporting team development
You’ll work closely with directors and senior stakeholders; your insight and experience will influence key business and client decisions.
About You:
You’re an experienced, chartered (MRICS) Building Surveyor who:
- Has 5+ years post-qualification experience
- Is confident in running projects from inception to completion
- Brings a strong understanding of legislative, technical, and commercial aspects of the role
- Enjoys a dynamic, team-driven environment
- Is passionate about mentoring and contributing to a positive workplace culture
