We are working with a growing law firm seeking a Civil Litigation Solicitor, with a skillset in contentious landlord and tenant matters to join their team. Whilst being a Civil Litigation Solicitor in this busy team, you will benefit from zero chargeable hours and the ability to work remotely. You will be focused on dealing with claims that have a focus on contentious landlord and tenant matters.
As the Civil Litigation Solicitor in this team, you will play a key role in managing a range of contentious landlord and tenant cases. You will work closely with the clients, providing expert advice and support in all aspects of this work, including possession proceedings and eviction notices, while being fully integrated with the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of contentious landlord and tenant matters, including possession proceedings and eviction notices.
- Prepare and issue court proceedings for possession, attend hearings, and represent clients in possession-related matters.
- Liaise directly with clients, ensuring excellent service delivery and strong client relationships.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in landlord and tenant law, and provide training and updates to the team where necessary.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor, with the ability to make strategic decisions when it comes to litigation and the litigious process. You will need full experience of the Civil Procedure Rules and the court process. You will also be able to manage a busy caseload and be part of a thriving team.
