Marlin Selection are presently working on a very exciting role with a commodities trading firm who are currently looking to hire a Product Controller to join their busy team in London.
Your main responsibility within the role will be to ensure the integrity of the firms’ financial statements through preparation and independent verification of daily and monthly P&L, price verification and valuation testing of trading inventory.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Independent valuation of commodity derivatives.
- Daily & monthly P&L reporting.
- P&L investigation, explanation, and reconciliations.
You will need to have the following experience:
- Previous product control, or related, experience within a commodity environment
- Excellent numeracy, analytics, combined with strong communication skills.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a global team.
