Are you a proven recruiter specialising in locum Doctors in Psychiatry, Medicine, Surgery, ED, Women and Children, and/or O&G with experience of supplying to the NHS and Private Healthcare Sector?

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all desk/division operations, including team management, recruitment, database maintenance, retention, and long-term planning.
  • Drive daily sales activity, achieve/exceed profit targets, and maintain high client service standards.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration, teamwork, and reciprocal business partnerships.
  • Generate new business to grow market share, services, and divisional gross profit.
  • Lead continuous improvements to enhance team efficiency, impact, and success.
  • Ensure excellent customer service, resolve issues proactively, and act as the escalation point.
  • Serve as a role model, promoting company policies and recruitment excellence.
  • Set clear expectations for team members and ensure KPI achievement.
  • Utilize commercial insights to make data-driven decisions for growth and ROI.
  • Motivate, coach, and mentor staff, addressing performance and development needs.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide creative solutions for success.
  • Manage and report on division progress, including forecasting and business planning.
  • Ensure team compliance with all legal, financial, and operational requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure robust and efficient processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience

  • Proven healthcare recruitment experience supplying locum doctors to the NHS and Private Health Care Sector
  • Evidence of successfully growing and expanding a desk from start-up
  • Leading and managing high performing recruitment consultants
  • Experience of mentoring, training and motivating other healthcare recruitment consultants
  • Demonstrable experience of driving and generating new business, from lead initiation to sales conversion and increased revenue
  • Expert market knowledge in designated recruitment area
  • Competent user of IT, including Microsoft outlook, word and excel
