Mane are looking for an experienced HSQE advisor to join their client on exciting new projects they have coming up. You will have experience within a Civils role previously and be capable of running your own desk. This role will be hybrid between the office in Northampton and on project sites. Key Responsibilities: Compliance and Reporting: Identify and report health, safety, and environmental non-conformities to the HSEQ Director and relevant Contract Managers. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with statutory and company standards. Provide weekly compliance status updates and other reports as requested. Project Support: Collaborate with project and site managers to establish and maintain effective HS&E procedures. Liaise with client safety representatives to align with client-specific requirements. Review contractor plans, risk assessments, and method statements, ensuring they meet required standards. Training and Awareness: Deliver site-based HS&E training and toolbox talks as directed. Develop and implement awareness campaigns, monitoring their effectiveness in improving health, safety, and wellbeing. Risk Management: Conduct Safety Task Analysis for critical contract activities. Provide expert advice on risk assessments and method statements to ensure adequacy. Audits and Investigations: Conduct formal audits of HS&E management systems, including subcontractor reviews. Assist in accident investigations, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures. Legislative Knowledge and Advice: Stay updated on relevant HS&E legislation and advise project teams on compliance. Ensure statutory notifications and HS&E documentation are in place for all projects. Requirements: Relevant HS&E qualifications such as IOSH and NEBOSH certifications (Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Health and Safety). Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in MS Office applications
