Job Type: Temporary Full-Time (4 Weeks)
Pay: £12.41 per hour + £0.75 shift allowance when working between 04:00 and 06:00 hours
Start Date: Training starts next week (2 days provided)
Hours: 8.5-hour shifts between 4:00 AM and 12:00 PM start times
Flexibility: 5 days out of 7, including weekends
Join the prestigious hospitality team at Liverpool Airport and be part of delivering a first-class airport experience. We are recruiting reliable and enthusiastic individuals for full-time temporary lounge assistant roles, working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pot Washing - Keep kitchen equipment, dishes, and utensils clean and organised
- Table Clearing & Cleaning - Maintain a spotless, inviting lounge environment
- Bar Support - Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (if bar trained/experienced)
- Replenishing Stock - Ensure food counters, drinks stations, and snack bars are always well-stocked
- Customer Service - Greet guests, assist with queries, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Cleaning Duties - Regularly sanitise high-touch areas, restock toilets, and manage waste disposal
- Food Handling - Light food preparation, restocking buffets, and monitoring food hygiene standards
- Lounge Set-up/Close-down - Help set up the lounge at opening and assist with closing procedures
Requirements:
- Ideally must have a DBS check issued within the last 9 weeks
- MUST be able to get to Liverpool Airport reliably for early shifts
- Flexibility to work any 5 days out of 7, including weekends
- A positive attitude and excellent work ethic
- Previous bar experience is a bonus (but not essential)
- Strong personal presentation and communication skills
- Comfortable with physical duties, including standing for long periods
- Ideally Level 1 in Food Safety but it's not essential
