Dubit is looking for a smart and inquisitive business intelligence developer with strengths in collecting, collating and reporting big data from various sources. The right individual will have a knowledge of the agency research process, and how complex survey data is represented and transformed for interactive reporting purposes.

What will you do?
Power BI Reporting and Research Data Analyst
You would be joining our Global Trends team as a data analyst and Power BI reporting expert, creating interactive power BI dashboards which allow our clients to interrogate data from our Global Trends tracker survey. This would involve:
- Manipulating data frames and raw data
- Identifying bad data (e.g. outliers, errors, suspicious patterns)
- Creating and maintaining complex data models
- Writing measures/functions to run analyses
- Creating and using templates to produce Power BI reports to specification
- Creating and updating interactive reports from client requests
- Identifying actionable insights from data
What is required?
You will be an analytical thinker and independent learner with plenty of experience analysing and visualising big data. You will be able to independently identify and pursue interesting research avenues and develop resulting insight into useful tools, technologies and reports.
You will be able to demonstrate competency with the following software and technologies.
Data manipulation:
- Excel (strong understanding of formulae and functions)
- Python e.g. numpy, pandas (similar like SPSS, Matlab, SAS, R considered)
- Power Query
- DAX
Reporting:
- Power BI (similar considered, e.g. Tableau)
- Presentation software (Keynote, PowerPoint, similar)
Ideal candidates would also be familiar with:
- DAX Studio
- ALM Toolkit
- Tabular editor
Flexibility and Location
This position is flexible worldwide and can be local or remote (or a mixture of both). Our office in Leeds would be at your disposal. It is walking distance from Leeds Train Station.
When you will be needed:
- The trackers run Feb, April & August & Nov
- The first wave runs in February, your resource would be required for a 4 week period and then 2 weeks for each of the other months (April, August, Nov)
- The exact dates for this will be discussed during the interview
