Our Client:
This is a great time to join our client, a large Public Sector body providing critical services at a local level with exciting technology plans in the pipeline providing opportunity for all IT team members to access learning.
The Role:
- Manage ICT suppliers to provide a centralised and consistent database of suppliers and contracts.
- Regularly liaise with and meet supplier contacts and relevant stakeholders.
- Update, manage and review the supplier and contract databases.
- Analyse the supplier and contract databases to provide the Senior Leadership Team with data to drive effective decision making.
- Monitor Supplier spend against budget to obtain best value.
- Undertake ICT asset management functions to support the effective use of assets throughout the organisation.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Essential:
- 2+ years' experience gained in a similar role, managing ICT suppliers and contracts.
- Experience of proactively driving cost efficiencies with ICT suppliers.
- CIPS qualified or with relevant supplier and contract management experience.
- Experience of using KPIs and/or SLAs to drive improved supplier performance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise confidently across the team.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- 5+ years UK residency, with no extended periods outside of the UK, in order to meet the necessary level of security vetting required.
You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years in order to meet the security vetting required for this role.
