New Business Director
Permanent, full time or part time (negotiable)
This is a full-time role for an individual whose primary responsibility will be to cultivate and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical companies. We are looking for the individual to identify opportunities within the pharmaceutical advertising industry and maintain an understanding of priorities for growth. The individual will coordinate regular interaction with clients and potential new customers.

Job Overview:
- Co-develop the company’s offering for the pharmaceutical advertising market.
- Sell to customers within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Acquire market intelligence continuously to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target pharmaceutical companies.
- Negotiate and close deals under minimum guidance.
- Ensure ‘bedding in’ of new clients regarding their working relationship with RFA, ensuring clients’ needs are met.
- Compose all post sale paperwork and send post completion welcome e-mails.
To be successful:
- 10+ years of professional experience within the pharmaceutical advertising industry, including sales experience.
- Understanding of customer’s products, industry best practices, and how advertising agency solutions support clients' business goals.
- Proven success securing new business.
- Good understanding of the pharmaceutical market.
- Ability to establish contacts easily, openness to building relationships with customers.
- Fast learning skills, focus on what brings value, eagerness to drive change by taking the initiative.
- A self-starter – able to work independently and take responsibility for developing a plan and actioning it.
- Comfortable and able to lead a team when needed (e.g. pitches).
