Our client is a specialist Electrical Engineering company providing top-tier solutions to the Water Treatment and Sewage Sector. They are currently looking for Electricians ideally with experience in the water industry and a current ComPex certificate. The work includes power, control, and instrumentation, and they will also consider candidates with experience in a time-critical/process background.
The role will be field-based across the Thames Valley, Swindon, and Oxford.
Responsibilities:
- Laying out electrical wiring
- Installing electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, conduits, and pipes
- Performing general electrical maintenance, preventative maintenance, and routine inspections
- Identifying electrical problems using testing devices and troubleshooting issues
- Testing electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning
- Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant legislation
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, clients, and other technicians and engineers
Requirements:
- Experience in Petro Chemical, Water Treatment, and Sewage Sector (advantageous)
- Clean Driving Licence
- JIB Gold Card
- ECS/CSCS
The role comes with a fantastic salary and benefits package, as well as a fully expensed company van and overtime if desired. Contracted hours are 40 hours a week.
