Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Implementation Engineer to join our Architecture & Engineering team. In this role, you will be accountable for developing a regional deployment function to support the design, integration, and management of the clients active network platform. You’ll play a key role in the delivery and continuous improvement of network services, including site design, change management, commissioning, and deployment processes. This is a hands-on, technical role ideal for someone with strong network deployment experience and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop regional deployment practices for new builds, augments, and network migrations to support timely service delivery.
- Design and maintain physical installation pack templates and processes for network changes and expansions.
- Guide engineers through network resource integration—from configuration to inventory management.
- Drive process improvements focusing on data integrity, efficiency, and automation.
- Provide subject matter expertise on network deployment, activation, and construction activities.
- Act as a technical mentor to junior engineers and contribute to building a high-performance team.
- Coordinate partner installation teams, ensure quality assurance, and uphold deployment standards.
- Collaborate with vendors to maintain a repeatable, reliable supply chain.
- Manage network changes and deployments in line with technical and operational standards.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience in network deployment and planning, ideally in a multivendor environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and lead a team with diverse technical skills.
- Familiarity with commissioning and troubleshooting tools.
- Understanding of Ethernet & IP (Layer 2 and 3 technologies).
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and process efficiency.
- Electrical cabling/wiring system experience.
Desirable:
- Experience with analytics and basic automation techniques for build processes.
- Exposure to operational quality/process improvement initiatives.
