Semi Skilled CNC Mill / Turn Machinist (Days)

CNC Setter/Operator – Mill/Turn (FANUC) – DayShift
Location: Poole
Salary: 32,300 – 34,200 per annum (including night shift uplift)
Hours: Day shift – 37 hours per week
We are currently seeking semi-skilled CNC Setter/Operators to join our night shift team in Poole. If you have experience working with FANUC-controlled Mill/Turn machines and a background in precision engineering (ideally within aerospace), we\’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn Lathe machines with FANUC controls to produce high-precision components to specification.
• Working from engineering drawings to ensure parts are produced to the required tolerances.
• Carrying out self-inspection to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and organisation in line with 5C/5S practices.
• Supporting a positive and efficient workshop environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn machinery (FANUC control knowledge essential).
• Background in aerospace or other high-precision industries preferred.
• Ability to work independently to set jobs and monitor output quality.
• Due to ITAR restrictions, applicants must be UK citizens or have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
