Our client, a leading vehicle body repairer based in Ross on Wye, Herefordshire, have an exciting opportunity for a SMART Repair Technician. Offering an excellent working environment with a growing company.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assess damaged vehicles and determine the necessary SMART repairs required.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to remove dents, scratches, and other imperfections from vehicle panels.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Follow schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate SMART repairs.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to various tasks and repair techniques as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a SMART Repair Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
- Good customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- ATA is desirable.
