This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and diligent Hotel Real Estate Fund / Investment / Ops & Asset Management Analyst who would like to gain exposure and knowledge across multiple disciplines in a top performing Hotel Investment platform. The successful candidate will support across the Investment fund as well as the Op-Co / Management aspects of the business.

Description:
- Liaise with brokers and obtain high level information for preliminary acquisition opportunities analysis.
- Review dataroom, run desktop valuation analysis and discuss with executive committee.
- Main point of contact liaising with internal teams, brokers, hotel management, and external advisors during Investment DD process.
- Work with Asset Management, CapEx and Tax team to run full pro forma and detailed valuation analysis. Prepare sensitivity analysis where required.
- Liaise with lenders and insurers, providing information and documents required for analysis.
- Assist in reviewing legal documents such as sale and purchase and facility agreements.
- Prepare information decks for executive committee and shareholders' approval.
- Prepare monthly opportunities assessment report to shareholders.
- Assist with the maintenance of the corporate model, accurately reflecting returns of each investment and the vehicle as a whole for IRR reporting purposes.
- Prepare annual portfolio review based on latest data (Hotel Ops, CapEx, debt, investment comparables, cap values and returns) annually, or as required.
- Extract fund level KPI's and value summaries in Quarterly shareholders' report.
- Assist in creating, developing and maintaining analytical tools to evaluate the operational performance of hotels; critique operating statements against KPIs; benchmark performance versus target, the market and historical results.
- Assist in developing and implementing short, intermediate, and long-term strategies designed to improve performance and maximise values asset-by-asset and across the portfolio.
- Compile and critique weekly, monthly and quarterly results, taking responsibility for inputs and quality of data.
- Participate in forming annual business plans for each hotel.
- Help identify risks in the portfolio, assist in developing strategies to mitigate and assist in implementing strategies.
- Develop forecasting, including sensitivity analysis of operators' and consolidated forecasts.
- Prepare internal and Shareholder memos to seek approval on major projects.
- Help assess, develop and implement value-add opportunities for hotels with ownership of ROI validation and tracking models.
- Liaise with ESG team to assist in data gathering exercises to improve portfolio performance and help to meet Sustainability metrics and certifications.
Profile: The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Degree in Real Estate (Built Environment) / Business Administration / Finance / Hotel Management with Finance.
- 1-2 years or pre-existing knowledge of real estate investment / fund management and hotels (or operational Real Estate as a minimum).
- Excellent excel modelling skills.
- Our client is happy to support those working towards IMC, MRICS, ACA, CFA, CAIA (or equivalent) qualifications.
- Demonstrated evidence of solid financial and analytical acumen, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise projects is critical.
- Self-motivated, proactive learner.
- Strong team player and passionate to provide assistance where needed.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Fluency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
