Role Summary: Working for a design and build high voltage electrical contractor, the Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of projects related to the construction and installation of electrical systems for new and existing buildings and infrastructure. Package: Up to 70k + vehicle/car allowance Location: Running projects across the SSE South DNO area Selected Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement project plans, schedules and budgets to ensure that projects are completed on time. Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and other vendors Ensure projects are in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and standards including Health and Safety regulations Manage the quality of work and ensure that projects meet or exceed customer expectations Manage the project team, including assigning tasks and responsibilities, providing guidance and direction, and evaluating performance Conducting regular project reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and regulatory agencies to ensure continued business opportunities Continue to improve the project management process and methodologies including development and implantation of project management systems and procedures, to be more efficient and effective. Knowledge and Experience: HNC, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in project management, or in electrical related discipline (or equivalent) SSSTS or SMSTS Qualification (or equivalent) IOSH Certificate in managing Health and Safety (or equivalent) Driver’s Licence Project management certification, such as APMP from APM. Significant experience in managing electrical power distribution projects, particularly in the energy or utility industry. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
