Job Title: Factory Operative Location: Maldon, Essex Pay: £14.50 per hour (rising to £16.00 per hour after 3 months) Contract: Temporary to Permanent Hours: Night Shift (Training will be 1 week on a day shift) We are looking for a motivated Factory Operative to join a busy production team assembling steel frames. This position offers full training on machinery and tools, making it a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing or production experience who is keen to develop new skills and progress within a growing company. This is a long-term temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate. Duties Include: * Handling and assembling steel frames * Using drills, screwdrivers and rivet guns * Working to strict quality and safety standards Requirements: * Able to stand for long periods * Comfortable with bending, twisting and some manual lifting * Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn * Previous manufacturing and production experience is beneficial but not essential * Own transport preferred due to shift times Hours and Pay: Monday – Friday, full-time Monday – Thursday: 22:00-06:00, Friday: 20:00-03:00 Training will be 1 week on a day shift Weekly pay provided while working through Prime Appointments.
