Treloar's is a charity which runs one of the UK's largest specialist education centres for young disabled people to live and learn. Through our school and college, we offer students the opportunity to fully take part in life and achieve their aspirations.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef to join our exceptional catering team. The main job role will be to provide wholesome food for our students using delicious fresh produce. You will also be jointly responsible for the organisation, preparation and cooking of meals to create dishes with modified textures for those with special diets. The rota will include 9:00-14:00 shifts, during term time with no weekend working.
The successful candidate will be qualified to City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or NVQ/QCF Professional Cookery level 1 & 2 and have experience in catering. It's important to work well as part of a team, and strong communication skills are essential. While experience with complex diets is a plus, we are happy to provide training for the right candidate.
